ANNOUNCES ONLINE STORE FOR NORTHEASTERN PLASTICS, INC.
Houston & Kemah, Texas – May 31, 2012 American International Industries, Inc. (OTCBB: AMIN) (the "Company" or "American") today announced that Northeastern Plastics, Inc. ("NPI"), American's wholly-owned subsidiary, has established an online store by launching a new marketing arm, The Home Accessories Store, at www.thehomeaccessoriesstore.com.
NPI’s management believes that the new online store will make a significant contribution to the bottom line as the site continues to grow. The initial site product offering covers all of the many NPI Good Choice consumer products (including night lights, electrical cord sets, timers, multiple outlet devices), many which carry the Good Housekeeping Seal. Marc Fields, NPI’s President stated, "Unlike similar web sites offering similar products, the Home Accessories Store will be able to take advantage of our low cost distribution structure, low unit costs via our direct sourcing relationships in Asia, and the massive consumer quality awareness generated by the Good Housekeeping Seal."
NPI is working on the expansion of the site to include its automotive and new outdoor motion sensor lighting products. NPI expects to have the expansion completed within the next 60 days.
